Molly — August 2025
Life before The Warehouse: In 2022, after the pandemic, Molly decided to finally prioritize her health. She’d dealt with back pain since her early 20s and struggled to find a routine that stuck — until Krista Kay introduced her to The Warehouse and its community.
Since joining: A pivotal moment came in April 2023 during a severe back flare-up; doctors told her she might need surgery, as her mother had. Through the support of The Warehouse community, Molly discovered Advantage Health Group, a holistic center that addressed the root causes of her pain. Initially this felt like a setback — she was advised to stop working out and follow their rehab process — but even during those six months, The Warehouse community never gave up on her; Nickie, other instructors, and friends checked in regularly, offering encouragement and support. She’s now 100% pain-free without surgery, and completed 89 workouts in 2024 — already surpassed in 2025.
What’s changed: In June 2025, during a family trip to Spain, Molly hiked to the summit of Mount Tristriana in Andorra (9,442 ft) — something she never thought she could do. “It’s taught me to never give up on myself. It’s not about what you look like; it’s about how you feel.”
Favorite quote: “The only way to discover the limits of what you can do is to go beyond them.” — Arthur C. Clarke
Aimee — September 2025
Life before The Warehouse: In May 2021 I fractured the main weight-bearing bone in my foot, leading to nerve damage and months of relearning to walk. My friend Lisa invited me to “Get Fit with a Friend” at The Warehouse in February 2024, and I knew I couldn’t let the injury define me any longer.
Since joining: The Warehouse gave me back a part of myself that had been missing. I regained my strength, balance, and flexibility, and the community has supported and empowered me to show up for myself no matter where my body is that day.
Favorite quote: “All things are difficult before they become easy.” — Saadi Shirazi
Carli — October 2025
Life before The Warehouse: Growing up in a house focused on weight and diets shaped a hard relationship with fitness. After treatment for an eating disorder, Carli found real joy in movement through hiking, eventually training for a 4-day Pacific Crest Trail backpacking trip. A discouraging experience with a personal trainer elsewhere led a friend to encourage her to try The Warehouse’s February challenge.
Since joining: “Coming to The Warehouse doesn’t feel like an obligation. I never feel judged for only doing the ‘easier’ modifications. I feel a sense of community and acceptance that rarely comes with a gym membership.”
What’s changed: Increased her max hiking distance from 6 to 12 miles in a day, hiked 31 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, and says the biggest change has been an increase in self-compassion.
Favorite quote: “You cannot control the universe.”
Jen — November 2025
Life before The Warehouse: Diagnosed with scoliosis as an infant and in a body brace through childhood, Jen was always pushed to stay active and strong. A move to Minnesota in 2016, a ruptured calf in 2023, and a season of major family health challenges all shaped her path back to fitness — until a friend, Krista Kay, brought her to The Warehouse in February 2024.
Since joining: “Nothing short of amazing. I’m stronger both physically and emotionally. I have learned the hardest part is showing up but it is so worth it.” She credits the community’s support through a job change and the loss of a dear friend in 2025.
Favorite quote: “You either quit or keep going. They both hurt. Choose wisely.”
Mindy — December 2025

Life before The Warehouse: Years of on-again, off-again fitness fixes stopped working by her mid-40s. A November 2024 checkup showing high blood pressure and cholesterol prompted Mindy to look for somewhere she’d feel accountable — a friend’s Friendsgiving promotion at The Warehouse hooked her from day one.
Since joining: Her first class was Pound — and despite being nervous, she left with happy tears. “One of the best parts of the Warehouse is the people... it helps give me the push I need that was missing when I was working out on my own.”
What’s changed: As an occupational therapist working with preschoolers, she has more energy to keep up with them, and her bloodwork numbers have steadily improved.
Favorite quote: “The hardest part of moving forward is not looking back.” — Felicity
Heather — January 2026

Life before The Warehouse: Fitness always had a place in Heather’s life — Life Time before kids, LA Fitness with little ones, then interrupted home workouts once “mom moments” made the pause button all too familiar.
Since joining: The Warehouse has given her a space to finally press play without interruption. She’s found it both grounding and uplifting, learning that growth happens when accountability meets support.
What’s changed: Her biggest change has been confidence — feeling stronger physically and mentally, with the energy and encouragement of the group making fitness something she now looks forward to.
Favorite quote: “Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”
Courtney S. — February 2026
Life before The Warehouse: Courtney didn’t have much of a fitness routine before. “Some of the gyms I went to before I wouldn’t really know how to use all the equipment and get intimidated by the large classes.” After college, an office job had her sitting all day, moving far less than she used to.
Since joining: “I was looking for a new gym that offered classes and have loved the variety of classes that make me want to come to gym,” Courtney says. She likes the community The Warehouse provides, having familiar faces, and different events throughout the year like Get Fit With a Friend.
What’s changed: This year, Courtney has kept a consistent habit of going to the gym, and has noticed increased energy and better sleep.
Favorite Warehouse workout song: “Anything with a good beat.”
Favorite workout class: “I like the variety of classes that are offered at The Warehouse but my favorite classes tend to be Oula and Pound.”
Favorite motivational saying, quote, or mantra: “The best exercise is the one you actually do.”
Sara P. — March 2026
Life before The Warehouse: Sara had always enjoyed group fitness classes, but once she started raising her kids she fell out of any organized program. Walking over her lunch hour, or with her dog and kids, was the only fitness she’d had for many years.
Since joining: Sara had been “watching” The Warehouse from afar for years, through social media and driving by, but never found the courage or time. Last winter, a friend told her all about the Oula classes she loved and invited her to try it — “it was just the push and encouragement I needed.” She’s since found a part of her life she didn’t realize she was missing, and her 6-year-old now joins her at Follow the Leader, which she says “has been really incredible to see her confidence grow.”
What’s changed: In the year since joining, Sara has seen a noticeable improvement in her mental health, which has helped her feel more physically healthy too — she’s sleeping better and has more energy. “I can’t say enough about how amazing the community is at The Warehouse,” she says. “Since my 1st class, everyone has always been so welcoming, encouraging, and friendly!”
Favorite Warehouse workout song: “I never know names of songs, but I love the uplifting and empowering songs in Oula.”
Favorite workout class: “Oula! But I also really love Pound, Yoga, Boxing Fusion...”
Favorite motivational saying, quote, or mantra: “Really don’t have one.”
Ann R. — April 2026
Life before The Warehouse: Ann has always enjoyed being active — she was an athlete in high school and college, and when her kids were younger the family loved biking, skiing, and swimming together. She and her husband also worked out at home with Tony Horton videos, and in 2013 her sister Lisa inspired her to try a Couch to 5K program; Ann completed her first 5k with her shortly after. It was all fun and rewarding, but after a few years she found herself feeling less motivated and ready for a change.
Since joining: A friend invited Ann to a class at The Warehouse, and a couple years later, when her motivation for at-home workouts declined, she decided to turn to The Warehouse for good. She was timid at first as someone new to group fitness, but “it didn’t take long to realize that I definitely made the right choice” — she felt welcomed and accepted right away. Since joining in 2018, she’s done everything from daily classes and themed workouts to the Rugged Maniac Mud Run, several 5Ks, the Women’s YWCA Triathlon, and pickleball. She became a certified Pound Pro and taught her first class in 2021, then became a group fitness instructor in 2022 — “both experiences have taught me how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.”
What’s changed: Going to The Warehouse energizes Ann. “If I’m feeling sluggish or down, I always feel better after a class,” she says — “it’s the combination of movement and awesome Warehouse friends” that recharges her.
Favorite Warehouse workout song: “Any Pound track is good with me! The most recent is: ‘Feel Invincible.’”
Favorite workout class: “Pound, of course!”
Favorite motivational saying, quote, or mantra: “By changing nothing, nothing changes.”
Kristen M. — May 2026
Life before The Warehouse: Kristen was really active in high school (swimming, running, nordic skiing, tae kwon do) and stayed active in college with running and rollerblading. After graduation, life got busy with teaching and having babies, and she spent about 10 years doing very little consistent exercise. When she decided to get back in shape, she struggled with consistency on her own and tried a couple of local gyms that were fine but not challenging enough — “that is when I found the Warehouse!”
Since joining: Kristen had seen The Warehouse advertised in Community Ed and local media, so she and a friend decided to check it out. After her first few classes she was hooked — “the instructors were inspiring and friendly and every class I attended had the perfect balance of challenge and fun.” She quickly realized The Warehouse isn’t just where she works out, but also where she goes to hang out with her friends. She’s had a few major injuries as an adult — a torn ACL, a torn hamstring, and plantar fasciitis that was covering up a stress fracture — and each one reinforced how important exercise is to her health and well-being.
What’s changed: Kristen has learned she benefits greatly, both physically and mentally, from her workouts — “if I don’t make it to class, I start to get cranky, plus I miss my workout buddies!” She’s found it’s good to mix in classes like Yoga and Therabody, not just high cardio or strength training, and to take care of her body with warm-ups, cool-downs, and stretching as she gets older. She’s also learned it’s fun to step out of her comfort zone with classes like Pound and Oula, her two favorites, and now makes it a priority to get to a Warehouse class at least 5 times a week.
Favorite Warehouse workout song: “I love any song by P!nk! Her tracks in Pound and Oula are my favorites, plus my running playlist is all P!nk songs! Though, I also love all the Oula tracks by Macklemore and Pitbull... my favorite one being ‘Jumpin.’”
Favorite workout class: “Pound and Oula are a tie!”
Favorite motivational saying, quote, or mantra: “If you smile, your body will think you like it!”
